If you’ve just started looking for a personal medical alert alarm, you may be wondering how they work and whether you need a landline or home phone for the device to work. At APERS we’ve taken every step to ensure setting up and using personal alert alarms are as simple as possible. Keep reading to find out how the APERS range of personal alert alarms work.
Do I need a landline or home phone for personal alert alarm devices?
Our range of Personal Alert Alarm Devices provide versatile and accessible solutions. To ensure this accessibility, our Medical Alert Alarm and Go Pendant both use a SIM card that connects to the mobile network. This is a great solution, as you no longer require a landline or home phone – both devices just need a sufficient connection to the Telstra mobile phone network to operate!
Please note that we are no longer selling the Go Pendant, as we are waiting for the 4G version to become available.
Are the devices NBN compatible?
All our Personal Alarm Systems are NBN ready! By operating on the Telstra mobile network, there will be no hassle when you need to change over to NBN, as you won’t need to change anything about your alarm system.
