Once activated, the outer ring of the personal medical alarm illuminates and flashes, reassuring the user that their alert has been received by the base unit, and that help is on the way.
Medical Alert Alarms should be worn at all times, including in the shower, bath, and at night in bed. As the device is small and lightweight (< 12 grams), wearing the Pearl Pendant is unobtrusive and discrete.
The Pearl Pendant’s hypoallergenic stainless steel chain is designed to break if a significant amount of pressure is applied. The Pearl Pendant has a 12-month warranty and requires a base unit to operate.
