Fall Detection

Sometimes a fall can leave you unable to reach for help. With optional fall detection, your pendant can automatically alert our Care Team, making sure that assistance is on the way when you need it most.

Fast Response Times

Our 24/7 monitoring centre is an A Graded Monitoring Centre, which means it operates to strict Australian Standards. This includes meeting ‘fast response time’ requirements. This ensures help is arranged as quickly as possible where every second counts.

Not all 3rd party providers meet this standard. Some ungraded centres have no set response time, which can result in dangerous delays when someone needs urgent assistance.

We are graded to AS2201.2:2022 – Alarm and Electronic Security Systems, Part 2: Monitoring Centres, giving you confidence that your safety is being handled to the highest professional standard. This benchmark goes significantly beyond AS 4607‑1999, the Standard for Personal Emergency Response Systems.

Solutions at a glance

Personal alarms help clients live independently while giving your team clear, reliable ways to escalate, should a situation arise. Our main solutions include:

1. Our APERS Home Companion personal alarm system is for useage in and around the home. Choose one or more wearable Pendants and/or wriststraps featuring built-in two-way voice technology connected to our 24/7 APERS Monitoring Care Team. Plus optional fall detection for selected wearables.

2. Freedom Friend is a mobile usage SOS pendant for clients when they are out and about. 4G connectivity and GPS so our Care Team can see an approximate location when an alert is raised.

3. Safety Mate is for lone workers, including care workers. It includes, but is not limited to staff-focused check-ins and duress with monitored response.

4. Our Key Safes are to allow emergency services (first-responders) quick & secure emergency access upon arrival, so they can gain entry into a house/dwelling or a client’s home fast.

Why 24/7 monitored beats self-monitoring

Every alert goes to our trained Care Team operators, day and night. We compassionately speak with the person who needs help, we assess the situation, follow your response plan, and keep an audit trail to support reviews and compliance.

No person is left waiting for help from self-monitoring systems, that can go unanswered. More about this here.
