The Many Benefits of a Go Pendant

The Many Benefits of a Go Pendant
17/02/2020 APERS

Please note that we are no longer selling the Go Pendant, as we are waiting for the 4G version to become available.

There’s little we can do to prevent emergencies from happening – they are unpredictable and happen when we least expect them. Time is crucial during an emergency, and although we can’t stop emergencies from happening, the Go Pendant can help when they do.

Provides Peace of Mind

With the Go Pendant, you can maintain your independence and live your life to the fullest knowing that help is only the press of a button away. Not only does this reassure you, but will give your loved ones peace of mind knowing that if something happened, you will have a team of experts helping you.

In an emergency, all you need to do is press the emergency button, and an alert will be sent to our APERS Care Team along with your GPS location. This mobile personal emergency response systems (mPERS) has a built-in SIM card, microphone, and hands-free speaker, enabling two-way communication between you and our APERS Care Team. This means you can talk to the Care Team about your emergency, and help them understand the situation.

When purchasing the Go Pendant, you will provide a list of contacts who are to be called during an emergency. After the Care Team assesses your situation, they will contact this designated list of contacts. If the situation calls for it, the Care Team can contact the emergency services.

24/7 Support

Our Care Team is available 24-hours a day, every single day of the year.

Our priority is to provide you with swift and effective assistance in emergencies via our purpose-built Care Centre. This centre has been constructed to be self-contained and to withstand extreme weather events.

To ensure complete redundancy, we have an uninterrupted power supply system to all vital computer systems and a back-up generator that powers the entire Care Centre for more than 48 hours at any one time. Additionally, there is off-site redundancy of all critical monitoring hardware and data. This guarantees that even in the most serious situations, our Care Team is available for you.

Works Australia-Wide

The Go Pendant is a mobile medical alarm that utilises cutting-edge cellular and GPS technology, ensuring your safety when you’re on the Go. These devices operate anywhere in Australia with suitable Telstra mobile phone coverage. So, whether you’re walking your dog at the beach, doing some gardening, or reading on the veranda, the Go Pendant is there for you.

Impact and Water Resistant with Long Battery Life

Accidents, such as falls, most frequently occur in the bathroom. That’s why we made sure our Go Pendants were able to operate when immersed in water. With an IP67 rating, this personal emergency response device is protected from dust and immersion in water to up to one metre for thirty minutes. Additionally, the Go Pendant is impact resistant, so there’s no need to worry about damaging it during an incident.

This pendant is supplied with a stainless steel hypoallergenic chain and a split ring to suit your individual needs. With these two options, you can wear the pendant around your neck, on your key chain, or simply carried in your pocket.

Having to charge a device every couple of days becomes a hassle – especially if you forget to charge it, and when you urgently need it, the device is flat. That’s why the Go Pendant lasts up to six weeks between charges. For ease of charging, the Go Pendant charges wirelessly.

At APERS, we understand that keeping your loved ones safe is the most important thing in the world.
