Maybe you’ve had a fall when nobody was around, or you’re living alone and your family is concerned for your health, and now you’re contemplating getting a Personal Emergency Response System. However, the world of Personal Alarms can be really daunting, especially with the many devices with different features. Understandably, it can be difficult to decide which product is perfect for you. Luckily we’re here to help!

All of our Personal Emergency Response Systems are water resistant, so you don’t have to take your device off when bathing – which is when most falls happen! As well as this, all our systems are NBN ready, and have absolutely no phone call costs! Even better, we offer free express delivery for your order, Australia-wide. And if you decide the device isn’t for you, we have a 30-day money back guarantee.

Medical Alert Alarm

Our Medical Alert Alarm comes with a Base Unit and a Pendant that can be worn on the wrist or around the neck.

During an emergency, simply just press the help button on the Base Unit, or the gray button on your pendant. This sends an alert straight to the APERS Care Team, who then connect to your Base Unit and are able to speak to you through the built-in speaker and microphone.

An optional addition to our Medical Alert Alarms is the fall detector. This sophisticated feature may recognise when you have had a major fall. After identifying this, the pendant searches for movement, and if none is detected, sends a signal to our Care Team. Then, based on your situation, the Care Team can contact your designated emergency contact or emergency services, if required.

Our Medical Alarms are pre-programmed to make the self-installation as easy as possible – just plug the Base Unit into the wall and you’re done. In fact, our oldest installer was 94! Even better, the pendant doesn’t need to be charged!

The Medical Alert Alarm System may be purchased outright or rented. If you purchase your device and no longer have a use for it, given your device is in good condition, we now offer a buyback program!
Our Pendants have a range of 300 metres from the Base Unit in open air, so it’s perfect for use in and around the house. However, if you spend most of your time outside of the house, you may be interested in our Go Pendants – perfect for when you’re on the Go!

Go Pendant

The APERS Go Pendant uses advanced cellular and GPS technology, enabling you to use the Pendant outside your house – and anywhere that has Telstra mobile phone coverage! The Go Pendant can be worn in a variety of ways; around your neck, fixed to your keyring or belt, or even just carried in your pocket.

Our specialised range of Go Pendants use cutting-edge cellular and GPS technology, ensuring your safety when you are on the go | Mobile Personal Care Alarm | APERS (Australian Personal Emergency Response Systems)

Similar to the Medical Alert Alarm, just press and hold down both buttons on your Go Pendant to send an alert to our Care Team. One of our specialists will then open a two-way voice channel through your Go Pendant and assess your situation, and contact any help that is necessary.

The Go Pendant doesn’t require any installing – just turn it on and you’re good to go. The Pendant has a durable battery that can last up to six weeks without charging, and charging to full battery only takes six hours!

The Go Pendant is only available for outright purchase.
