Refunds and Returns
Faulty items, incorrect items, or damage in transit
If an item is faulty, not as described, supplied incorrectly, or damaged in transit, contact APERS as soon as possible. If you are entitled to a remedy under the Australian Consumer Law, we will provide the appropriate remedy.
We may ask you to provide information such as your order details, photos, and device details, and we may need the product returned for assessment.
Change of mind returns (including under the 30 day satisfaction guarantee)
- within the return period advised by APERS at the time of approval (or within 30 days of purchase where the 30 day satisfaction guarantee applies), and
- in as-new condition, with all accessories, manuals and original packaging, and
- without damage, missing parts, or excessive wear.
For change of mind returns:
- original delivery or shipping fees are not refundable (unless required by law)
- return postage and packaging costs may be at your cost unless APERS advises otherwise
- refunds may be reduced or refused if the item is returned used, damaged, missing parts, or not in original packaging.
Returns due to network coverage suitability (if applicable)
Mobile and wearable alarms rely on mobile network coverage. If APERS offers a returns window for coverage suitability, it is the customer’s responsibility to test the device within the applicable return period and contact us promptly if there is an issue.
Returning rental equipment on cancellation
If you cancel a rental service, the equipment remains APERS property and must be returned within the timeframe provided by APERS. If equipment is not returned, a replacement fee may apply.
How to start a return
Contact APERS with:
- your order number or proof of purchase
- device details (model/serial number if available)
- the reason for the return and photos if relevant.
We will provide return instructions and the return address once the return is approved.
