The wearable has a long-life battery and the base unit includes backup power for outages. The APERS Care Team is notified if a battery needs attention and will guide you on what to do.
No fall detector is perfect. Some falls may not be detected and some movements can create false alarms. The help button is always the primary way to call for assistance. Think of fall detection as an added safety net rather than the only line of defence.
